A beautifully atmospheric magical adventure for readers age 9+, perfect for fans of Tamzin Merchant’s The Hatmakers, Kiran Millwood Hargrave’s The Girl of Ink and Stars, Sophie Anderson’s The Girl Who Speaks Bear and Eva Ibbotson’s Journey to the River Sea
it was a bit tough to start, but when I got going I couldn't put it down! Wonderful book, would recommend to 10+, or anyone that loves a good magic story.
some of it, i cant really understand, but it contains magic so it is a good book in my opinion!
It was very good & I couldn't put it down
I would definitely recommend for imaginative children! Favourite character was Raf because he always gets things wrong and he’s funny!
It was amazing!!! I loved how the author portrayed the feeling of magic, not like the kind in fairytales, but what you would imagine real magic to feel like! Also, I thought the storyline of the book was amazing and really well thought out. It made me feel as if I was in the book itself!! I would definitely recommend this book, especially to fantasy lovers!!
JUST AMAZING, full of twists
Such a beautiful fantasy story. I would recommend this to people who love were it all starts real in the world then they go into this differnt world
i would recommend this book my favourite character is Yara
I liked this book because it was an adventure story full of magic which involved lots of twists.I would definitely recommend this book if you are someone who likes lots of things happening.
A nice story with some nice characters. Not the most original of storylines and other characters were not explored enough to make them seem real enough. Nice though.
