From dream duo, Frances Tosdevin and Sophia O’Connor (creators of The Bear and Her Book, and The Bear and Her Book: There’s More to See), we present a brand new picture book. Quill, the mouse, is a dreamer! He longs to write stories and share them with children in his beloved library. But getting his words noticed seems impossible for such a small creature. Can he and his spider friend, Leggsy, find a way to make his voice stand out from the crowd — or will Quill’s stories remain forever unheard?
The library mouse goes to the bookshelf every time just like me! I love books like him.
The first part of the book talks about Sam being a library mouse his home was in a little hole in the wall behind the children's books
Me and my mum loved reading this book
Quill the mouse and his friend Leggsy, a spider, live in the library. Quill loves to listen at story time. One day he decides to write a book of his own. But how can he get someone to read it. He tries many ways, until one day he gets angry with the cleaner in the library because she throws his book in the bin. But something good happens...
I enjoyed reading this book
Nice story and rhymes
This was a nice book and I understood how sad the mouse felt when nobody listened to or read his work.
My favourite bit was when the mouse got his bits of paper back from the bin. I would recommend this book to Charlie becasue I think he will like it.
I like the book because the characters were cute. My favourite was Leggsy. The book was a lovely story about never giving up when you fail.
its really good because it makes you calm down.
I liked how he wrote books.
