Summer Reading Challenge x StoryTrails Activity Toolkit for Teachers (Welsh)

This pack brings together StoryTrails and the Summer Reading Challenge, providing apps and session plans to help children and young people explore the themes of innovation, technology and immersive storytelling.

Immersive Storytelling using innovative technology offers a powerful way to engage students who are not normally enthusiastic about reading and writing.

It can open students’ eyes to the links between creative subjects and STEM, and the many exciting careers that combine them.

The technology involved may be new to you, but this pack includes all the information you need to get started.

The pack supports curriculum learning in English/Language and Literacy/ Languages/Literacy and Communication.

While recommended for pupils aged 9-11, the activities in this pack would work well with older students as part of a STEM enrichment day, or with younger children with the right support.
